1. Uninstall the existing Samsung USB drivers on your computer if they are version 4.40 or earlier. Follow these instructions to uninstall the proper files.

2. Once you've restarted your computer from the driver uninstall, follow these step-by-step instructions to ensure a successful update.

The up coming release of Android 2.2 (FroYo) will be the first Android version to fully support Adobe's Flash platform according to The New York Times. Changes to the iPhone make it more difficult for developers to create apps and Google plans to cash in on that mistake. Although HTC Hero users have been able to experience flash support already, other devices have not had this luxury.

FroYo's Rumored Features

• There is much buzz around the net that FroYo will have automatic updating
• New API's that will allow better touch screen response
• Increase in RAM due to the new 2.6.32 Linux Kernel

When HTC released the Hero last June, it was the first Android device to support Adobe's Flash. This was followed by an announcement that Adobe would unveil its first full fledged Flash multimedia player for smartphones which since then been put on delay. The halt was due to Adobe wanting to take advantage of some of Android 2.1 API's. As it stands currently Adobe is to release its flash platform in the first half of 2010.
