If you want a really cool effect you can turn on experimental tab page by going to about:flags in the Chrome/Chromium Address Bar.

This theme might seem simple at first glance but believe me it integrates well into the GNOME 3 Adwaita theme and even works with the GTK2 Awaita Port theme as well.
