I found a tutorial on how to share files from Ubuntu to the Xbox360 and what I did was record me going through the tutorial with adding my own modifications that the tutorial left out.

This should help you configure your own Ubuntu system share files with the Xbox360. You can download your copy of Ubuntu over at http://www.ubuntu.com.

When I first started Linux, The Xwindows system worked great for having multiple terminal windows. Since then the Desktop has changed dramatically but the command line or bash shell is still around. The bash shell is a powerful tool if used in the right hands. I really have not seen much with the command prompt so I decided to put together a little how to for using the command prompt.

The video below was made using Ubuntu and the commands may vary across different distributions. Essentially these are the basic Linux commands. You can download your copy of Ubuntu over at http://www.ubuntu.com.

This an 11min tutorial that covers the basic's of customizing the Ubuntu desktop. From the video you can see that Gnome is very customizable and with Gnome v3 coming soon to a desktop near you, you can expect some more amazing things. The power of customization is what has attracted me to Ubuntu and makes me feel as if I am in control of my desktop, unlike some other OS's I will keep nameless. If you have any questions feel free to comment on this video and I will be sure to answer them.

I started using Linux back when Kernel 1.2 was around but as more people around me began worshiping Windows I jumped the band wagon. Since I have been doing Android Development and since Android runs on Linux, I decided to switch my system over to Linux and let me tell you I was impressed. I have messed with OpenSUSE and Fedora but this is my first adventure with Ubuntu. I must say Ubuntu is coming close to making Linux mainstream and if the development keeps up like this I would not be surprised to see it offered on mainstream computers in place of Windows.

The video below was made using Ubuntu software and gives a 10min tour of Ubuntu. If you see what you like head on over to http://www.ubuntu.com and download your free copy of Ubuntu.
